About this role

At Regeneron, we use science and innovation to develop life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. Regeneron is currently seeking multiple 2027 Interns in Quality Assurance – Validation & Qualification teams of Regeneron Industrial Operations and Product Supply (IOPS). Quality Assurance (QA) is the function that makes sure manufacturing processes are documented, controlled, and operating correctly — and that anything that goes wrong is investigated and fixed.

These positions offer the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.

When & where:

Location: Rensselaer / East Greenbush / Troy, NY

Timeframe: Our internship positions are full-time and onsite from May/June-August

Pay: Intern and Co-op pay ranges are determined by level of education (year in school) and degree program. The hourly rate range for these locations is: $17.90-$25.50 per hour.

What you'll do:

- Projects here involve verifying equipment inventories, labeling, and validation records in asset-management systems; supporting cleaning validation and verification, aseptic process simulations (media fills), and shipping and transportation validation; and helping improve how components and raw materials are qualified (sampling plans, defect classification, and supplier communication).
- You may run gap assessments against industry standards and guidance (for example, ISO/ISPE documents or contamination control and sterility assurance practices) and review historical qualification and study records to identify recurring issues and trends.
- Some projects build or evaluate tools and systems, such as electronic systems to manage qualification programs, inspection databases, or pilots of emerging technology (such as wearable smart glasses) for use in a regulated environment.
- These roles are often a mix of data work, technical writing, process mapping, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Lab work is minimal to none, though many projects involve walking the manufacturing site or warehouse or traveling between sites; strong organizational and communication skills matter a lot here.

Relevant majors: Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology, Statistics/Data Science, Supply Chain/Industrial Engineering

Let's find out if we're a fit:

- Demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or within the community preferred
- Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree (and be returning to school the semester following the position or graduating after the position)
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
