About this role
Electrical Engineer
### Design-Focused Building Systems | High-End Projects | Long-Term Career Growth
We're seeking an Electrical Engineer who is passionate about creating thoughtful, technically sophisticated building designs where engineering and architecture work hand in hand. This is an opportunity to contribute to some of the region's most complex and visually distinctive projects across healthcare, government, education, hospitality, mixed-use, faith-based, and luxury residential markets. This team specializes in highly customized, design-driven projects that require creativity, technical excellence, and close collaboration with architects and fellow engineers. You'll have the opportunity to influence projects from concept through construction while working alongside a stable leadership team with an exceptional track record of employee retention and professional development. Please note: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position now or in the future.
### What You'll Do
Design electrical power distribution systems and related building infrastructure for complex commercial and institutional facilities. Develop construction documents and technical designs using Revit and AutoCAD. Collaborate closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and project teams to deliver coordinated building system designs. Participate in the full project lifecycle, from conceptual design through construction administration. Apply electrical engineering principles to create efficient, code-compliant, and technically sound designs. Support BIM coordination efforts and contribute to clash-free project documentation. Work directly with project teams to solve complex design challenges and continuously improve project outcomes. Take ownership of project responsibilities while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and client service. Contribute to a culture that values design excellence, innovation, and long-term client relationships.
### What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering. Professional experience designing electrical systems within the building construction or MEP consulting industry. Strong knowledge of power distribution and building electrical systems. Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD. Experience supporting projects within healthcare, government, higher education, hospitality, mixed-use, luxury residential, or similar building sectors. Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet project deadlines. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
### Preferred Qualifications
EIT certification or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure. Experience working in highly coordinated architectural and engineering environments. Passion for design-focused engineering rather than purely production-based work. Experience on complex, custom-designed projects that require creative problem-solving and attention to detail.
### Why Join?
Work on signature projects that many traditional MEP firms rarely have the opportunity to pursue. Collaborate directly with architects and clients on highly visible, design-centric projects. Join a company known for long-term stability, strong employee retention, and consistent growth. Receive substantial annual bonus opportunities. Enjoy direct exposure to leadership and meaningful career development opportunities. Be part of a culture that prioritizes both technical excellence and employee satisfaction. Earn unique long-term service recognition, including an all-expenses-paid cruise for employees and their spouses after five years of service.

While the company values in-person collaboration, it also offers flexibility when personal needs arise. Ideal for an Electrical Engineer who wants to move beyond repetitive production work and contribute to complex, architecturally significant projects in a highly stable and design-focused environment.
