Job Requirements

Quest Global delivers world-class end-to-end engineering solutions by leveraging our deep industry knowledge and digital expertise. By bringing together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals and their areas of expertise, we are able to solve problems better, faster. This multi-dimensional approach enables us to solve the most critical and large-scale challenges across the aerospace & defense, automotive, energy, hi-tech, healthcare, medical devices, rail and semiconductor industries.

We are looking for humble geniuses, who believe that engineering has the potential to make the impossible possible; innovators, who are not only inspired by technology and innovation, but also perpetually driven to design, develop, and test as a trusted partner for Fortune 500 customers. As a team of remarkably diverse engineers, we recognize that what we are really engineering is a brighter future for us all. If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you.

We are looking for an early-career Electrical Engineer to support our System Validation team. You will help evaluate electronic components, test hardware, and support updates to existing products. This role is suited to someone with solid electronics fundamentals and hands-on experience who wants to develop their component engineering and validation skills while working with experienced engineers.

The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:

What You will Do:

• Review component datasheets to identify key electrical specifications, operating limits, and pin compatibility.

• Help review bills of materials (BOMs) and track component availability and end-of-life notices.

• Compare potential replacement components and support qualification testing under guidance.

• Execute established hardware test plans, record results, and assist with troubleshooting board-level issues.

• Support engineering changes by updating component records, test documentation, and schematics as needed.

• Work with design, firmware, manufacturing, and quality teams to investigate issues and verify fixes, including hardware compatibility with firmware updates.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, hardware testing, component engineering, or product engineering.

• Working knowledge of common electronic components and the ability to read datasheets and basic circuit schematics.

• Some hands-on experience evaluating or testing components or circuit boards, using tools such as a multimeter, oscilloscope, or bench power supply.

• Basic understanding of component selection and availability considerations, with a willingness to learn lifecycle and qualification processes.

• Ability to document findings clearly, follow test procedures, and collaborate with other engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to schematic capture or PCB layout tools such as Altium, Cadence OrCAD, or Allegro; full PCB design ownership is not expected.

• Basic familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), or IPC standards; certification is not required.

• Exposure to BOM management, engineering change orders (ECOs), product lifecycle management (PLM) tools, or structured troubleshooting methods.

• Experience with consumer electronics, wearables, or new product introduction (NPI) builds.

Pay Range: $80000 - $120000.

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
