Overview

Apprentice is an entry-level position for Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferable) degree graduates in Civil/Structural Engineering. The role focuses on developing technical competence, gaining practical project experience, and building familiarity with engineering standards, business processes, and project delivery under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Your role

- Assist in the delivery of engineering projects, including calculations, designs, drawings, and technical reports.
- Develop competence in one or more engineering disciplines through structured work assignments and on-the-job training.
- Apply engineering principles and use relevant design, modelling, and digital engineering software to support project delivery.
- Gather, review, and analyse technical information from multiple sources and assess its relevance and suitability.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records in accordance with company procedures.
- Participate in technical meetings, presentations, and discussions with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Safe by Design principles, CDM requirements, and CMS processes.
- Deliver quality work thorough self-checking and attention to detail.

About you

- Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferable) degree in engineering.
- Good understanding of engineering fundamentals and design principles.
- Familiarity with engineering design/modelling software and digital tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of programming or computer languages is desirable.

- Preferred Experience Relevant internships, industrial placements, academic projects, or technical report-writing experience.
- Exposure to engineering software and tools relevant to the discipline.
