Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to grow your warehouse skills in a hands-on and fast-paced environment? As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory handling, order fulfillment, and product preparation. Pay: $18/hr - $21/hr depending on experience
Shift: 8:15AM - 4:30PM
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, and moving materials.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate a Carpet Roll Cutter to accurately cut sheet vinyl products.
- Assist with inventory organization, stock management, and product labeling.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Support the receiving, unloading, and inspection of incoming shipments and containers.
- Perform deliveries and pick-ups between warehouse locations and manufacturing facilities using a company box truck.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and support OSHA and 5S workplace standards.
- Assist with general warehouse duties and other responsibilities as assigned.
What We'd Love About You
- High school diploma, GED, or a combination of education and work experience.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, dependable, organized, and eager to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Clean driving record preferred for operation of company vehicles.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally, while standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and moving throughout the shift.
